Your expectation on the filtration result, filtration time and the dry solids are the guidelines for our recommendation. Filter presses are available from manual to highly automated operation, from sidebar to overhead versions and from 5 bars to 30 bar application.

P.P. Filter press is a kind of structure which provides close chamber for filtration. Structure is either made of cast iron steel. Plates are made form Polypropylene and arranged in to the structure. The plates are tightened by different methods like manual capstan type, ratchet type, hand hydraulic and power pack operated hydraulic cylinder. The filter press is available in different size. Filter press can be equipped with either chamber type filter plates. These type of plates allows center feeding with high rate of feeding rate compare to old plate and frame type filter plates. This higher size feeding nozzle allows fast filtration.

The filter cloth is available in different mesh size and in different MOC like Polypropylene, Polyester, Teflon, Cotton etc. The mesh size of the filter cloth is to be selected after studying the mesh size of solid particle contained in the slurry. We normally select filter cloth as per application. Though we prefer to have either slurry designed for long life, trouble free operation. It is available with or without mechanical lock nuts. Designed for working temperature upto 95^o C.
